On Friday 24th March, some children went to Chingford Goals for a big tournament, hosted by Woodford Green Prep School. In our group, there was Woodford Green D team, Loyola School and Snaresbrook Prep. In all of the matches we played, we put in good performances. Our first game was against Woodford Green D which we won 4-0. Our second games was against Snaresbrook Prep. This was a very good game but unfortunately we lost 2-1. Our second game was against Loyola. This was our last game in our group stage and a tough one. Rire made very important blocks. We were losing 1-0, last second of the game and I scored from a goal-kick. This was a very good game for us and we drew 1-1. We had a very tough group and we finished 3rd so we went into the 3rd place group. We went into another group of the other teams that came 3rd in their group. We had to play St Aubyn’s Girls, Woodford Green B and Woodford Green C. Our first match was St Aubyn’s Girls and we won 6-0. Our second match was against Woodford Green B and we won 5-1. Our third match was against Woodford Green C and we won 6-0. We came 1st in our group so we had to play the second team in our group, and that was St Aubyn’s Girls, who beat again, this time 7-0.
