Tuition Fees for the Academic Year Sep 24 – Aug 25
(Fees are per term, with three terms per academic year)
Please note that, in accordance with government requirements, VAT will apply to all independent school fees starting from the Spring Term 2025.

Please note that the school is absorbing a significant portion of the VAT. The new fees, effective from Spring Term 2025, reflect a 14% increase compared to Autumn Term fees.
Early Years – Foundation 1 (Nursery)
Nursery fees are exempt from VAT.
- Morning Sessions (8:00 am – 12:00 pm, no lunch): £2,525 per term
- Morning Sessions (8:00 am – 1:00 pm, with lunch): £2,725 per term
- Full Time (5 days per week): £3,800 per term
Included and Excluded Costs
Fees include lunches, books, and stationery but exclude:
- Extended hours care
- Curriculum day trips
- Residential trips
- School uniforms
Discounts and Childcare Vouchers
- A 7.5% sibling discount applies to fees for second and subsequent children, provided more than one child is enrolled at Avon House Preparatory School.
- Childcare vouchers can be used for Foundation 1 fees and for all pupils accessing Breakfast Club, after-school clubs, Tea Timers, or Holiday Club childcare.
Payment of Fees
- Fees are due by the first day of each term* and must be paid in full via Direct Debit or Direct Bank Transfer.
- Optional extras must be paid by the last day of each term.
- The preferred payment method is Direct Debit, either termly or in 10 monthly instalments (from 1 July to 1 April annually).
If you experience financial difficulties, please contact the Bursar for a confidential discussion. Note that the school is not obligated to waive or defer payments.
Non-payment of Fees
- Pupils will not be allowed to attend school until outstanding balances are settled, except in exceptional circumstances.
- Interest will be charged on overdue amounts at 3% per annum above Barclays’ base rate.
We do not accept cash payments for school fees.

Removal of a Registered Pupil
- Written notice is required by the first day of the previous term to remove a registered pupil. Otherwise, a full term’s fees are payable in lieu of notice.
- Provisional notice must be given if an exam result will determine whether a pupil leaves.
