What an action packed, first full week our new Nursery pupils have had this week! Our Puffins class have settled in so well to school life. They have enjoyed tuning into a repetitive rhythm of the story of the week (‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’) and have also taken part in their first Dance, Spanish and PE lessons with our specialist teachers. In their 2nd Music session of the term with Head of Music, Mr Reed, the child learnt about various instruments and they particularly loved the rainmakers and the sounds they were making.Armed with their waterproofs and wellies, the rain did not stop them heading outside for their Weekly Walk where some great memories were made. The children used their senses to observe, listen and explore the nature around them and they ordered all the sticks they collected from the longest to the shortest. Well done Puffins! We look forward seeing you out and about on more adventures next week.
