The Year 3 / 4 Boys’ Inter-House Football competition had all the ingredients of a really exciting “Match of The Day” programme. Each house won, drew and lost a match in the group stage as everyone finished on 6 points. Goal difference meant Morris and Cavell battled for 3rd and 4th while Pankhurst and Churchill played for the title of Champions. There was nothing to split them as they drew 1-1. This meant the title was shared between Pankhurst and Churchill as penalties weren’t deemed necessary. The girls’ competition was slightly different as Morris galloped away with title after winning all their group games and trouncing Pankhurst in the final. A massive well done to all the Year 3 and 4 pupils who battled all afternoon in the sunny weather.
