On Thursday, Sustainability Council marvelled at the beauty and richness of life through the VR experience, Life Chronicles. From the depths of the ocean to the tropical forests, the children travelled through the paleo-landscapes of the great geological periods and discovered the first traces of life in the Archean era (-3.5 billion years ago), the emergence of diverse animal species in the Cambrian period (-520 million years ago), the great dinosaurs of the Cretaceous era (-67 million years ago) and the appearance of humans (between -100,000 and -60,000 years ago).
Accompanied by a virtual guide, Charlie, and her little robot, Darwin, the children were able to get up close to the various inhabitants of the Earth. Would you dare approach the Tyrannosaurus?!
