In our Prep Route Planner Club held on a Monday, children from the club were delighted to finally present their work on journeys into London. They began by choosing a place of interest to visit. From this, they successfully planned a tube journey from their nearest station and mapped out the route to their destination. Some managed to map out a second route just in case of travel difficulties, which often occur on the London Underground. The children worked out the cost of travel and cost of the tourist attractions they were visiting. Some used google maps to show directions on how to get to their chosen destination, once in London. This was a great task for the children and a task which meets objectives set from the plume of feathers.
