A Visit to the British Library

Posted: 8th May 2024

On 7th May, members from the Diversity Council and our House Captains were given a fantastic opportunity to attend a workshop held at The British Library. We took part in a workshop which focused on sacred texts. The children were engaged throughout the workshop; taking part in group activities, sharing ideas and demonstrating knowledge and understanding when asked key questions. The children used a combination of their skills; observational, listening to a piece of recording, analysing artefacts and reading for clues. They were then asked to work out how these items were linked together. I was very proud of the children today for many     reasons; collaboration amongst the groups was great, impressive, in-depth responses during the session and finally behaviour was exceptional. It was commented at the end of the workshop that ‘our children were           exceptional and a pleasure to work with.’
