Year 1 had a fantastic day out for our Spring Term school trip. We started off the day very excited as we hopped on the coach to head for the British Museum. We had the opportunity to explore the African exhibit. Each group had a tick sheet to help them explore the area, the children had to search for various African artefacts and tick them off on the sheet when they found it. It was great fun and some groups even got quite competitive to find each item first! We all sat together for lunch at the museum before making our way to the Lyceum Theatre for the most anticipated event of the day, The Lion King! It was a spectacular show with lots of oohh’s and aahh’s from the children as they admired the talented actors. All of the children behaved splendidly and were a credit to the school and their families. We can’t wait for our Summer term adventure!
