On Tuesday 16th May, four Year 6 pupils (Aarav, Mia, Lara and Dhaya) headed to St Cedd’s School for the area heats of the Mathematics Quiz Club competition. After completing a number of tricky questions (and facing some technical difficulties with the buzzer) the team finished a fantastic second place, only 60 points behind the team in first. We received great news on Wednesday, informing us that their high score means that they have qualified for the semi-finals which take place next week. What a brilliant team effort and I hope you will join us in wishing them every success for next Wednesday!
