The U11 boys football team faced Loyola this week. Against an extremely organised and efficient team, the boys battled hard throughout in what was a very close encounter. Captain Taylor put in a superb performance with great saves and excellent distribution to teammates, whilst Zak gave maximum energy throughout to ensure the Loyola defence were always under pressure. Loyola scored in the first half to take the lead in a goalmouth scramble, but the boys fought back to put Loyola under great pressure. Unfortunately, the boys couldn’t breakdown Loyola and make a breakthrough and the scored remained 1-0. The boys should be applauded for their perseverance and desire to compete against a national final football team.
