We were entertained in assembly this morning by Amha (Year 4) who had made his own musical instrument as one of the tasks for his Bronze Plume of Feathers Award. Amha used a calendar with a metal binding, a metal tin lid, some paper clips and sellotape. He used it as a percussion instrument, making a similar sound to a guiro and played and sang: We Wish You A Merry Christmas. A very confident and topical performance – well done! Amha is hoping to complete his Bronze Award this school year.
