A few of our Year 5 and Year 6 girls were lucky enough to attend Arsenal Women v Tottenham Hotspur Women on Saturday 24th September. Having travelled via the Overground with Mr Phillips and Mrs Dade, the girls took time to soak in the atmosphere beforehand, viewing everything Emirates Stadium has to offer, including a performance from a brass band and a speed gun shooting area. After eating lunch in the sunshine, the girls took to their seats, ready in anticipation for the game to begin. In front of a record-breaking crowd at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal won, 4-0. It was an inspiring experience for the girls, who were able to see some of the famous Lionesses in action, including Leah Williamson.
